Come on out this summer, to see the hardest working and most entertaining class take on a brand-new touring series. That’s right, the Street Stock class has a brand-new touring series called, the Cow Bell Street Stock Tour. It will take a class that has no shortage of talent, and put them to the test competing against the other hot-shoe competitors from across the great state of Wisconsin. Each of these events will pay a minimum of $400 to win and $75 to start with a total Feature purse of $2970 for 24 cars.
The Cow Bell Street Stock Tour will begin Friday, May 5th, at Luxemburg Speedway, with regular racing action accompanying them. The tour then will go dormant for two months before revving back up at, Tomahawk Speedway on Tuesday July 4th with the B-Mod Summer Hatchet Nationals and Kenny Wallace. This race will have free camping, the World’s best pulled pork sandwiches, and will pay $750 to win. Following the Nationals in Tomahawk, the Cow Bell Street Stock Tour will take nine short days off before traveling to, Oshkosh Speedzone. On Thursday, July 13th, Oshkosh Speedzone, will feature the Cow Bell Street Stock Tour, with the USMTS Modified series for a thrilling night of action. Friday, July 14th, is the championship night for the tour at, Plymouth Dirt Track.
Rules packages for this tour are “home track” with a tweak on the tire rule. The rule reads; the Hoosier WISSOTA 35W, IMCA G60, and the H500 tire will be the only tires allowed. Siping, grinding and, grooving is allowed. There will be no defacing or altering of manufacturer identification mark or numbers on the tire. No softening, treating of tires is allowed. No tire needling is allowed. Driver’s must choose which tour track rule book they will be running at the beginning of the tour. Once a home track rule book is declared, that will be the rule book that individual team will be teched on for the entire tour.
