Shawano, WI (May 18, 2013) – Ron Berna led flag to flag to win his first Late Model feature of the year at Shawano Speedway. Marcus Yarie won the IMCA Modified feature, while Brandon Czarapata won the IMCA Stock Car feature. Tracy Wassenberg won the IMCA Northern SportMod feature, and Trent Nolan won the Mighty 4’s feature.

Anderson Brothers Shine In Rice Lake Speedway Opener

Rice Lake WI, May 18 – It took seven attempts, but finally on Saturday, May 18th the Rice Lake Speedway was able to get their 2013 season opening event in the books. SIEFERT SWIPES $800 PAY DAY ON LATE RACE RESTART AT THUNDERHILL

(Sturgeon Bay, WI) May 18, 2013 Results- Former Thunderhill Raceway champion Jared Siefert used a green white checker restart to slide by defending champ James Tebon taking the win in the IMCA Modifieds. The win netted the former IMCA Modified National champ $800. Other feature winners were Shawn Havel (IMCA Stock Car), Jarred VanLaanen (IMCA Sport Mod), Scott Boulanger (IMCA Hobby Stock) and Von Eytcheson (Street Stock) Cory Cochart earned the N.E.W. Racing Supplies Hard Charger award in the IMCA Modifieds.

LACROSSE CAPTURES FIRST FEATURE WIN OF THE YEAR AT 141 SPEEDWAY

(Francis Creek, WI) May 18– Benji Lacrosse of Green Bay steals the lead late in the race and goes on to capture the IMCA modified feature at 141 Speedway Saturday night. Lacrosse starts thirteenth but charges up to the front and pulls away with the lead after a late race restart over Shawn Kilgore of New Franken who came home second with Jay Mathias of Green Bay in third. Jeremy Jacobs of Luxemburg comes up in fourth and Randy Markwardt of Sheboygan Falls takes fifth. Season Opener Set for Luxemburg Speedway/Veterans Get in Free

(Luxemburg, WI) After two rainouts to start the 2013 season, Luxemburg Speedway is finally set to kickoff the season this Friday night, May 17th. Racing will get roarin at 7 p.m.

Algoma Motors and Coors Light will be the opening night sponsors. Luxemburg Speedway will be honoring all veterans of the armed forces. All Veterans will be given free admission to enjoy the night at the races.

ABC Raceway to Host Pre-Season Practice

Ashland, WI — Officials at the ABC Raceway have set Wednesday, May 22, aside as an open practice night for racers from throughout the area.

Drivers hoping to get a few laps in before the scheduled May 25 season opener are welcome to attend. The session will run from 6-8 pm at the three-eighths-mile red-clay oval just south of Ashland. The pit gates will open at approximately 5 pm, and admission will be $25 per car, with no fee charged for drivers or crew members.
